How to download any torrent file without visiting any torrent site
While some are fighting to put a stop to torrents, or at least diminish, the consumption of copyrighted content in an illicit way, the millions of users who make use of them on a daily basis always seem to find the way to avoid the obstacles of the film industry, software developers, or music producers, among other organizations.
Keep in mind that wanting, or at least trying to carry out a control over what Internet users do or do not do on the Net, is a highly complex task, in fact for the most expert, it is almost impossible. We already talk about the extended portals with torrent files, the direct download platforms, the streaming video sites, or the media players with illegal software, the systems to access these contents are becoming more advanced and difficult to stop.
What is certain is that one of the classic and best-known participants in the world related to this sector of piracy, on the Pirate Bay portal, a website that has survived countless attacks and attacks from all the fronts and that, in full-year 2018, it follows. Despite domain closures, blockades, complaints, etc. TPB is a torrent service that, in one way or another, continues to operate and offer its services to many millions of Internet users day after day.
However, as we have been checking for some time, this is a site that increasingly suffers certain downtime, for various reasons, which can lead to great frustration among those millions of daily users. That is why it is developing a project that will try to correct these falls of the portal so that visitors can still have access to the torrents, despite the fact that The Pirate Bay is temporarily down.
How to solve the falls of The Pirate Bay
That is why the software developer TechTac, hopes to put an end to these delays with the launch of the application called OfflineBay, a torrent file that will work offline and where you can find these files stored in TPB. In this way, the software is based on downloading and updating that torrent dump file, for the moment manually, although the developer hopes to be able to replace this operating system in the future.
As many of you already know, The Pirate Bay is considered as one of the most important torrent sites, while resistant, throughout the world, and although it has overcome many obstacles, the falls of the service are currently worrying for the community. That is why the aforementioned developer TechTac devised a simple but effective solution: OfflineBay. So that we understand, OfflineBay is a multiplatform application that you can install on your PC so locally and that will help users to store a copy of all torrents from The Pirate Bay on your hard drive, which is useful in the case that the website does not work.

This is an idea that began a few weeks ago when TechTac itself became aware of the constant problems that TPB’s operation was having, which becomes inaccessible for some periods of time.
Therefore, it began with the development of the OfflineBay tool at that time, all in order to offer an application that allows users to search and download torrents from that portal without having to use the website as such. This means that those torrents that were available at the time of the last update or data dump, will be in the local database as a backup in case TPB drops.
In fact and as far as we have been able to know, downloading and updating the dump of all the torrents has a size of just under 100 megabytes, so instead of having to do it manually, as it happens in these moments of development, its creator wants to automate the process of updating the database. At the moment it is a closed project, but it is being seriously considered as an open source project so that everyone can collaborate in its growth and improvement in the future.
One of the most interesting plans is to use Blockchain in this project, which would mean that the torrent database would be stored and shared among the users themselves, without the need to import a full dump file. However, this type of change requires a lot of time and effort, so it is possible to “open” the project and other developers join it.
